Its  nice to have a finished presentation, but what leads up to it , however,  is a  challenging labor of Love. Although the idea is to share a loving  cup with friends while  cherishing  the moment along with the  season Its just as  important to remember that summers are fleeting .. and we only have our allotted number.so here are some things to remember so you wont get bogged down  in self indulgences such as trying to perfect a dish .  Painstakingly  making sure the presentation is pleasurable. REMEMBER ! No one really cares  about that except maybe Martha Stewart who would never go to your BBq anyway.The main idea is making sure your guests shamelessly eat , with out any regard for  your  good name or personal property.

do not allow guests to put the food on their heads no  matter how eccentric or Arty  it may sound at the time .its not a good idea and it has   been done so many times that it has long since been replaced by other objects... the latest of note being the lampshade or  women s under garments.

                                 

Drunken '   superheros are a drag.  if the Larger than life personality you invite cant hold their liquor than

keep them away from any instruments of pleasure that might provoke an episode.. example Do not  let Aqua-man into your pool and dont talk politics with captain America... However it could be a good Idea to send  the Flash out for a booze run  when resources get low.

Keep animals and pets away from the guests it be distracting.And no matter how much they sday they are not going to do it,    someone always feeds  the dog from the table and that just is not good for the dogs diet or digestion.
